I don''t know what to do. On a budget and my soon to be fiancee is letting me pick the ring I want.. I found a bridal set on ebay that I am very interested in and plan to bid on it, the auction ends tomorrow evening. I really do like this set, it''s beautiful even though my intentions were to look for a princess cut diamond as the center stone (I love princess cuts). I had never heard of the radiant before and after coming across this ring, it looks so much like a princess. I did my research on the radiant and now I know the difference between the two. Here is my concern. This is a clarity enhanced diamond bringing it to a SI2 with a visible inclusion (they state it''s only really visible when held up close to your eye). I like this ring not only for the overall design but the fact that the center radiant diamond is 1.41 carats. I emailed the seller and am waiting to here back about the specific stats (depth, table, symmetry, girdle, etc.) I''m concerned that the diamond may not look the size of a 1.41 carat. I really don''t know what to do? Maybe with some advice from others that know what they''re talking about I can figure out what to do. I will add the links to the ring/auction for your advice after maybe reading the description of the ring. Thank you and hopefully someone can help me out here. The item number on ebay is: 150143439469

I don''t know if these will show up or work.. here is the direct link to the auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150143439469&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:11

I saw that it was enhanced as well. I think the general concensus is do not buy an e-ring from ebay. I saw that they had excellent feedback, but after buying a few things from ebay(childrens little tikes toys)I have learned that even very good to excellent feedback, doesnt mean a whole lot. I think I would do a bit more research, before I jumped at this deal. You will find the posters on this forum, and their expert opinions outstanding. I forgot to say, if you really like that setting, save it, and get a price from a few of the vendors on here.

I personally wouldn''t get a clarity enhanced diamond for my ering, not to mention I''m not big on visible inclusions so those are just 2 reasons I personally would not go for this ring. A third reason is the stone just looks like it''s badly cut from the photo...weird thing going on in that picture. I would pass. You tend to get what you pay for, IYKWIM.

Run!!!

The stone is enhanced, the cert is not from a reputable lab, and the seller looks shady despite the 100% rating. Do a search for ebay to read some horror stories, please don''t do it.
