Hey everyone,

Just wanted to start off by saying hello! I am new to the forum (joined today) and already have learned a lot more about diamonds then I already knew. I found 2 diamonds and wanted to know which one would be better pick.

#2 is very nice. can''t go wrong with an AGS 0 Tolk.
 
#2 seems best, but has a thick girdle so may not really be AGS 0

I checked the AGS grading report of #2 and the girdle was 1.6% - 3.8%. I don''t know how much of a difference that makes, or if that is a good size range or not.

Strange that they said 1.6%-3.8% is medium-thick. I would have thought thin-medium. Wonder what''s going on there?...

It may be that only one set of rules is being applied by the seller. AGS and GIA measure girdles differently.

With those numbers, I wouldn''t consider #1 a strong candidate.

#2 looks like it has potential.

The above 0.51ct stone is AGS 1.6 - 3.8% and med-thk.
Another 0.51ct stone from same seller is AGS 1.8-4.4% and is thn-stk

Looks like a few sets of rules being applied by the seller.
