I''ve been browsing this site for some time now and finally decided to just ask all you experts out there. Looking at 3 different diamonds and would love your opinon on which stone seems best.

G
SI1
GIA cut grade Excellent
Symmetry Superior
Polish Excellent
Fluorescence None
Table 55%
Depth 61.4%
Crown Angle 34.0
Pavillon Angle 40.8

#2

Round H&A
1.28 ct
E
SI2
GIA cut grade excellent
Symmetry Superior
Polish Excellent
Fluorescence None
Table 57.4%
Depth 61.4%
Crown Angle 34.7
Pavillon Angle 40.9

#3

Round H&A
1.04 ct
E
SI1
AGS cut grade Ideal
Symmetry Superior
Polish Ideal

Table 56.1%

Prices are all within $500 of each other since the 1.28 is a SI2. Thoughts? Anymore info you need? Thanks so much guys!

Seems like you could drop out #1

What do you know about either #2 or 3 being eye clean? SI2 could be eye clean, and SI 1 not. Then, sure, pick #2

But...if SI2 is eye cleanish, and SI1 eye clean...your choice. Each have advantages.

1 question, which vendor did you intend to buy this from?

If all check out to be eye clean, I would probably go with stone 1 because it has better HCA grading for most factors. But if you have access to IS or ASET, then I would need to consider again...:P

Ira, why would you consider dropping stone1?

Sunny confirms in his latter post what I assumed in the former...but first checked with HCA...that with AGS0 on #3...it trumps #1 anyway...since HCA data on GIA is never as good a a guess as an earned AGS0. The revelation of the dealer really doesn''t complicate it...an E will trump a G.

Ok, thanks...

I change my position then. I would go with stone 3. Looks better in all the pics unless you want most bang for bucks then it is stone 2.

First pick is 2 for size obviously, if eyeclean, second choice would be 1.

I will have to agree, and disagree with Ira somewhat. Without any info other than a grading report, I''d agree an AGS0 is a safer bet. However, with all the info we have on these, it''s quite clear the GIA G is just as nice as the E. And if you want to get technical, the PA is cut much tighter on the G. So, no trumpy.

assuming all 3 are eyeclean you can''t go wrong with any of them.

If you are ok with the SI2, and the white inclusion in the table does not bother you...the size and the color for the price...combined with that cut!!!!! You will have a nice stone.
