Help! 2.24 CT Round

I was mouth-watering with this stone. We were looking at 2 CT but this one is so much bigger!

What do you guys think of this? We are in the beginning stage of looking. Does the medium blue fluorescence bother you?
Everything except the pavilion angle falls within the AGS 1A cut criteria.

I''ve been hooked on this site for about 5 months now and have learned a lot! I''m not up on RB, as I happen to be a Radiant Lover! I do know though that Fluoresence is a personal preference. You really need to check out a bunch of stones in person to see if you like fluoresecne or not! Good Luck to you ya!

Hi kitty,

Without a Sarin report, or IS pic, there''s not much more we can say, than it has potential. Have you actually seen it?

As for the the fluorescence, some people actually seek it out. It can help the stone appear brighter. I want to think though, that I''ve read on here it has to be at least strong to affect it much, but I could be wrong. At any rate, I wouldn''t let that keep you from getting it.

Awesome! Finding an eyeclean SI2 of that size is awesome.

It seems like a great price and if you have seen it and been impressed than it might be a winner. It scores reasonably well on the HCA.

Yup, keep it under two.

But I have seen two large stones that by holloway would have been tossed out, from what I understand, but that are stunning in real life. Kristy Darlings and Beacon''s. Both are amazing in person. Have you seen it? IMO, your eyes trump all.

The medium blue fluorescence is no problem, and I would want to see the HCA 4 before tossing it out.

Some HCA 4''s I have seen have been positively gorgeous.

Did they just change the HCA? I punched in the numbers a few days later and now it''s a HCA 3.3

I am seriously thinking of buying this diamond. Any criticism? I am happy with the clarity and color. It sparkles to my untrained eyes. Is E/SI2 a bad combination? Does medium blue really lower the value of an E diamond?
