Welcome Jordan!

Unfortunately you can't judge a cushion by the numbers as they don't indicate how the diamond will look or perform - but having said that, this diamond appears to have a very shallow depth...Have you actually seen this diamond, is it with a jeweller or online vendor? Does it have a grading report also, and if so which lab please?

It is a GIA certified stone and I have seen it in person (jewler). It looks fine to me, but I am not an expert.

Whats the clarity? 30K is low for an SI1 and high for an SI2.

depth of 52.9% is also very low so it may be kinda spready which is good but you need to visually inspect to be sure you arent compromising performance.

52% is like a pancake - i cant even find a comparable depth online. you sure you didnt switch around the depth and table percentages?

Thanks for the response! It is a SI2 and the table and depth are correct

watch out for fish-eye?

That''s a really shallow depth! If you''ve seen it and like it, however, don''t let the numbers dictate what you ''should'' have.

Jordan it is very hard to advise, the diamond does have a shallow depth, what I would do is make the sale final on it checking out with an independant appraiser, they should be able to advise you further. Here is a tool you can use to find an appraiser in your area,
