Hi everyone - I''d like to get your opinion on the following diamond I''ve found and put on hold. I love the cut and the price seems good. I''m hesitant on SI1 and the strong blue fluorescence but I''ve been told by the Whiteflash people that its eyeclean and the SBF is not noticeable, except in weird lighting conditions. It seems to me that if the G in a setting will show practically no discernible color (esp. to the untrained eye), and the inclusion is not that big of a deal, and the cut is terrific...then it should be great? Am I glossing things over? Your thoughts appreciated.

HI:

No hesitations but for the strong blue flluor. Either ya like ir or ya don't! I'd want to see this stone in various lighting conditions--aka IRL--before committing.

cheers--Sharon

Snatch that baby up! I wish mine had strong blue fluorescence!

I love it!

Everybody - thanks so much for your help! I just bought the stone and am eagerly anticipating delivery. I keep getting nervous about the fluorescence and then going back and forth, but am putting my faith in the Whiteflash rep....

Will send pictures to the group when I receive it. Thanks so much again, this is truly a remarkable website and online community. It has kept me from driving myself too crazy in this, my largest purchase ever :).

Many congrats, we would love to see pics please!!

It looks amazing, and huge!

SBF might make the diamond look a bit bluish in direct sun. But then, most diamonds reflect the sky and look bluish in the sun anyway; I have an N colored diamond w/no fluor, but it does go blue in the sun. I got to compare a diamond with very strong blue fluor to mine in the sun- identical cut, size, and color- and they looked the same to me... the off-white look they have changed to steely blue. So I dunno how you tell what''s the effect of fluor and what''s just sky reflection! Enjoy the new sparkly
