Yeah...I think there is a whole lot of spin happening here, on the part of both news outlets and the science community itself. As soon as I saw the word “banned” a couple days ago something didn’t smell right about this story.

Amen on that. My younger son says this all the time..

Here is what happened: Birth control got readily available and reliable in the 1950s and 1960s and so on. So intelligent people capable of planning started having 1, maybe 2 children. Stupid people kept having lots of children and with about 60 years of THAT, we are in a position where the Stupid now vastly outnumber the Intelligent/Careful/Planners.

These are misguided guidelines for what to put in budget documents, not a ban. The problem everyone should be in an uproar about is the funding that will be denied for services to those communities the current administration is trying to marginalize and stigmatize.

This WH is truly evil, and I don't say that lightly.
