Heed help looking at an ASET for radiant

Hi everyone,

AWESOME WEBSITE! This is my first post here and i must say this website has educated me well on diamonds. there's so much info to absorb but i'm taking it all in little by little. So its that time for me to start shopping for that perfect stone and i think i may have found a good one but i need some opinions.

I was in between this radiant and two other cushions. radiant cuts was my first choice cause my GF hinted that she liked radiants best and cushions second. I liked the more square cut radiants personally.

This diamond in particular, I was told sold and unavailable, was not officially sold and JA was able to get it to their gemologists, who said It has a great outline and cut, as well as a true "H" color. It faces perfectly eye clean and has excellent fire, brilliance, and scintillation. The gemologist raved over its performance and beauty. Please let me know what you think of this ASET. Dark reds is good right? But Why is there no BLUE present?


Also, looking at this GIA report and comparing it to the POH on GoG, they look identical, so does that mean the diamond i will be getting have hearts and arrows as well?

I assume the ASET of the stone you bought is the one on the far left. If so it looks good to me. I do have to add that I'm certainly no expert but recently bought an emerald cut from JA and my ASET had a very similar strong red color pattern. My diamond is amazingly bright and their gemoligist was spot on with her description.

I'm sure some of the far more experienced PSers will give you great feedback. Everyone is super helpful around here

That's not a typical radiant...it looks cut like a princess of hearts but not sure if it is an official POH. The blue you
see in assets is controlled leakage/contrast. I think your stone will be a very bright stone. Its a great idea to
Have the stone sent to you so you can play with it and see if its everything you think you (or your girfriend)
wanted.

You might ask the gemologist or salesperson if it is a POH.

Yes, I was shopping for a princess of hearts cut but since they are hard to come by and kind of out of my budget I started looking at square radiant and cushions. luckily by chance I came across this stone and looks to me like what I was looking for and well within my budget for the carat weight and specs. We'll see in the next couple weeks when I get the ring.
