Hearts on Fire - How to buy setting only?

Hi,

Does anyone know where we could purchase a Hearts on Fire setting only? I''ve found one on-line retailer who will sell the setting only; however, it will take 4-5 weeks. I cannot have the setting custom made because the jeweler would essentially be copying the HoF design. Thanks!

Really? Yes, we saw them at two local shops, but they both told us that they could only sell them with an HoF diamond, but the first one backed down, called us the next day and said they could put one of their other diamonds in it, which is fine, I just don''t want their mark-up. I thought for sure that there was no way they would sell it without. May I ask what state you are in? Any where near CT?

www.michaelcfina.com sells some HoF settings, not sure if that''s the online retailer you were referring to, or how long it would take from there.

i believe shreve also sells hof settings w/o diamonds

Just so you know, most of the "designer" settings are custom made, so unless you can find a store willing to sell you their display item, any order from HOF will probably take 4-5 weeks as you were told...

ditto, this time of year especially just about any setting, no matter who''s it is will take about that long, unless the vendor has it in stock already.

I''d want it custom made in my size with the correct size head for the stone anyway. It would be unlikely that anyone would have a display ring that was exactly what you wanted unless you need a size 6 for a 1 ct. stone.

It is true...it took about a month for mine to be done. They had to custom make mine as well because my ring size is 3.5.
