Heart sidestones?

Has anyone seen settings (ring or pendant) with heart shaped sidestones? I just bought these two beauties (.28 and .27) and want to come up with something for my daughter.

Can you post any pictures you find? I think the more ideas and uses I see, the more possibilities I can come up with.

What about as a kind of "diamonds by the yard" bezel set stones alternating between light blue sapphires and diamonds? Would that be appropriate for a 16yr old girl?

heart shape sides are great with a round or oval center. i particularly like an east-west oval with heart shape sides...eithr pink sapphire or ruby...or a red spinel....

If you set hearts across the finger the center stone frequently will cover the cleft in the heart and make the hearts look more like wide pear shapes.

But, I just put in a really lowball offer on that pink champagne diamond heart, AND WON IT!!

Now, I''m just going to have each stone bezel set (pink in pink gold, of course) and set them about an inch apart on a 16 inch chain! Wow, I wish I could photoshop!!

If you offset the direction of heart shapes, you gain a better view of the heart''s cleft and make them quickly recognizable as hearts shapes instead of pears.

The idea about making them into a "diamonds-by-the-yard" type necklace would also be a good use for them.
