This isn''t my engagement ring; I wear it as a RHR but I had a heart shaped diamond (1/2 ct) mounted in this semi mount so it would certainly work as one. What are you looking for?

i personally have a round brilliant engagement ring (solitaire, .75ct, G, SI1), which I haven''t posted on here due to my horrible camera. i am trying to inquire about heart shaped diamonds because i would love to one day either incorporate two heart sidestones with the original round brilliant i have (two .30 ct stones), OR...get a heart solitaire approximately 1ct as an alternate engagement ring (while that sounds terrible, i would like to be able to switch rings every once in a while...not in a bad way!).

PrincessPeach, I don''t see a thing wrong with having an alternate engagement ring. Sometimes it''s fun to wear something different. Your hearts project sounds like a great idea.

This is my original ER, but I''ve had several different ones since this one. In fact, I don''t wear this one anymore since I''m on chemo and this ring is too small for me.

i have a .51ct heart which i am having halo set later on this year - hopefully in about august. it''s in my line up of ''to do jewelry jobs''. it''s just a small stone and will only be a small right hand ring, but i suspect i''ll love it. because of the shape, setting a heart can be a bit dicey, and i haven''t seen a lot of setting which i truly love. personally i think bezel looks best, and halo should look lovely around it.

I think I will have to really educate myself on good heart cuts, etc. I am also very indecisive about a white or yellow (canary?), diamond. I need to do some research and...SAVE $$$ !!! Poor DH can''t keep up with me and my ''projects''!
