I have been shopping for a heart shape diamond but the price they quoted me is 10% above rappaport. I recall I paid below rappaport a few years back when I bought my round brilliant diamond.
Is 10% above rappaport reasonable nowadays? How should I bargain?
Here are some details of the diamond:
Heart Brilliant
GIA cert
3.41 carat
F VVS2
9.35 x 10.03 x 6.31 mm
Table 59%
Depth 62.9%

I have not looked at the diamond.
Is there any way to tell if it has a good cut by looking at these figures?

Rap rules change constantly.

Ttry to use it and you will loose it.
use an ASET scope to examine any fancy shaped diamond for its light return

For my personal taste..., I learned I prefer shallower Hearts...
But again..., like any other fancy shape..., needs to be judged with the eyes....
