Headache. I have 3 X 0.30ct nice RB. What can I do w them?

They are e/f vs2 GIA ideal cut stones. What can I do with them?

1. a pair of 0.6 cttw studs to replace my 0.5 cttw Macy studs + a 0.3 ct pendant? - have 1.2 cttw studs and a 0.45 pendant already
2. two for side stones for my 0.9 ct e-ring to make a 3-stone ring + a 0.3 ct pendant? - too small?
3. a 3-stone RHR? - coverage not good
4. buy two more to make a 5-stone RHR? - too big for my ring size 5.


Any suggestions?

I don't think that adding two .30 stones to make a 5 stone would be too large for your size 5 finger. Maybe go to a jewelry store and see if you can try some similar rings on to get a sense of perspective on size and see what you think. You could also put them in a "diamonds by the yard" style bracelet or just hold on to them until you're inspired by something. HTH!

You have some good options! .30's would be perfect as sidestones to your.90 if you'd like a three stone ring. That would probably be my first choice if you'd like that.

I think you could do a 5 stone with .30's, but it would be pretty blingy in comparison to your solitaire.

You know, you could also just try to sell them on the pre-loved forum and Diamond Bistro if you really don't need them.

I tried in local store and feel the max for 5-stone I like is 1.25 cttw. Not a bracelet person myself

A size five finger can handle five 30 pointers comfortably with the right setting. Have you seen the Nightingale setting by BGD?

What do you "want"? Have you seen anything that is interesting to you?

Make the stones "center" for a graduated eternity ring. Or 5...or..7..or 9 stone ring. Or halo with colored stones. Or three diamonds with colored stones for a 5 or 7....or.... Do you wear bracelets?

Are any vendors willing to take the GIA stones in on trade in toward something that might be desirable? Would they issue a GC lieu?

Sharon's idea is a great one. If you like rubies or sapphires you can add 2 of the colored stones that are the same diameter as your existing three and have them set into a five stone like the Nightingale above with alternating diamonds and color stones, if you don't want an all diamonds look.

Are your ring fingers on both hands the same size? If they aren't and your right hand is bigger (mine is) you can always have it sized for your right hand and that way you have bling on both hands.

I love a three stone ring with a halo on each stone when all three stones are the same size. Sooo pretty. What a fun dilemma!
