OKAY! So I am happy to say that my BF has my ring. Well not yet, but I was on James Allen one day and saw this gorgeous Cushion. All the specs. I had been looking for. Then Dave, a VERY helpful customer service rep., sent me an actual picture, certificate, etc. I fell in love and I think the BF did too, mainly because I did and it was in our price range and all the specs he wanted. Not to mention being apart of pricescope gave us the benefit of a discount, I LOVE this place. It is a 1.02 D VS1 Ideal Cut Cushion, completely eye clean, set in a plain 2mm knife-edge platinum solitaire, I have size 5 hands, wanted something small/proportional. While I am sure the picture doesn''t do it justice for what it will look like in person. I am being tortured knowing that my BF is making the wire transfer for it today. I don''t know when I am going to get it, and I dont want to. But just knowing it is coming is the worst, almost worst than knowing he is going to buy it. Not to mention, since it has to be signed for it is being shipped to me at work since my boss won''t care. It should get here next week, I will have a better date once they receive his wire transfer. But I would NEVER sneak a peek. I just told him to make sure he loves it, before the 30-day policy is up. I don''t think it will happen anytime soon, I think he has a date set in his mind somewhere in the next two months...don''t know what but it must be special, he is a lot better at keeping secrets than me. But in turn I am on edge.
I am just happy he worked with me to pick what we both liked and wanted! Especially after almost a year of saving and searching. I think his only problem is that I know what it looks like, as if I hadn''t been dreaming of my cushion in my setting I have had choosen forever. But I had to explain while I know what the two separate pieces look like, when they are together and he is on that one knee nothing will ruin that moment and the how pretty the ring is together. Assuming our ring turns out as hoped.
So now I must wait....I will keep you guys posted and with pics. hopefully in the next few months. Maybe he will break and in the next few weeks.
