He got down on BOTH! As of Monday night, we are engaged. I am still in utter shock. He pulled it off so well. I honestly didn''t think that it was coming, not this vacation. I was so excited that I couldn''t sleep that night. I promise that pictures will be posted! I am on a blue tooth connection, uploading is slow. Also, our friends just arrived (walked right through the door..) and they don''t know yet. Whoo! I will post more details and pictures soon!

Monday night he was dying to go for a walk on the beach. I didn''t understand why it was so important since we were going to be here for almost two weeks. I was about to fall asleep on the couch! He said come on, so I said okay. The whole walk down the beach I was thinking that it would be a perfect night for a proposal, but I knew that it wasn''t going to happen because he just kept saying that Good Old Gold wouldn''t call him back, he couldn''t do this, etc. Well, as we walked back to the condo, he started acting very, very nervous. In fact, he was rubbing my hand to the point of chaffing! He asked if I was happy and my reply was that I was very happy except the fact that he was kinda hurting my hand. Then he turned to me and said things that I would like to keep private because they are so special to me. And then he got down on both knees and asked me to marry him. I was completely stunned and overwhelmed. I just sat there for a minute in shock and just whispered yes. I couldn''t talk or move. It was so amazing. I can''t begin to explain the feeling - the surprise and the whole proposal. My face was hurting from smiling. I still can''t wait to put my ring on every day (well, I don''t wear it to the beach or pool, but you know what I mean.)
