I can't read the numbers on the lab report. What are table depth and angles?

It's not just the depth, it's the crown and pavilion angle combo that is not as desirable as it could be. We do not use HCA for AGS 0 stones because they have already been evaluated for light performance. However, I like an idealscope image on any AGS stone where the numbers are outside of the safest range (which would equate to HCA scores of under 2). I would not be comfortable taking the risk on this one unless there was a return policy and the ring could be sent to an independent appraiser who can assess whether there is leakage. I don't consider that a steal of a deal at that price anyway.

Thanx for fast response.. is the hca only not used on ags post 2005 when they swiyched from proportion based to light performance?
Also the seller wants $4500 usd for stone only..

Also modern ags certs have idealscope images on them correct or does that depend on the cert package ordered

Its numbers look pretty good. It doesn't fall within the exacting range most strive for, but it'll likely be pretty nice. Its girdle does seem to fluctuate a bit.

Most AGS reports have a computer-generated light performance map. It looks like an ASET (not an Ideal-Scope) because it's based on an ASET.

Check out this link; it's one of my favorite education pages for Ideal-Scope and ASET stuff: http://highperformancediamonds.com/index.php?page=education-performance

Exactly. There are different levels of Ideal light performance. This has a pretty high crown, if we're splitting hairs, which is logical as it was needed to keep enough weight to hit the valuable 0.90ct mark. The cutter did a nice job to achieve the ideal LP threshold while making the weight.

Here is the report:

Correct. Whoever submitted this diamond in 2009 chose the older DQD format, which does not show the ASET imprint.
