So still looking at the following two stones, though I think I am pretty much set on the G. However, the G seems to fall into the AGS 1 range easier than the D, but the G stays within HCA excellent easier than the D. This is due to tweaking the numbers because of GIA rounding. I have viewed both stones in person and they both seem impressive, they also both seem to at least resemble arrows when looking at them with/without a loupe, but not good enough to qualify for h&a. The G gives off bigger flashes of light from the table, I am assuming this is because a 54% table of a stone that faces up 15% bigger is still a lot bigger than a 58% table on a stone 15% smaller. Both stones also seemed to have a lot of fire. So, since I am working without idealscope/Aset etc, which do you think is safer on the numbers and should I focus more on the HCA or AGS 0 proportions?

Stones are as follows:

First stone:
.62 D VS2 XXX
HCA 1.5
5.49 - 5.51 x 3.35 mm
Depth: 60.9
Table: 58
Crown angle 34
Crown height 14
Pavilion angle 41
Pavilion depth 43
Star length 50%
Lower half 80%
Medium to slightly thick (3.5%).
Faint fluorescence
No culet
Twinning wisp only inclusion, laser inscribed.

Second stone:
.73 G VS2 EX VG EX
HCA 0.8
5.82 - 5.85 x 3.58 mm
Depth: 61.3
Table: 54
Crown angle 34.5
Crown height 15.5
Pavilion angle 40.6
Pavilion depth 42.5
Star length 50%
Lower half 80%
Medium (3%).

No culet

Thanks again for any help.
