I hope you don''t mind that I keep resurrecting this thread, I just love having everything in one place so I can scan it over whenever I have some time to waste.
Anyway, we commissioned an artist in Israel to create our ketubah (Jewish marriage contract) and I wanted to add a picture of the inspiration piece to my wedding thread. His name is Izzy Pludwinski, and his work is amazing. He''s creating the entire thing so it is truly going to be a work of art, I''m so excited!
the border design contains two texts:
"Kol sasson v''kol simchah, kol chatan v''kol kallah and Ani l''dodi v''dodi li -
("The voice of gladness, the voice of joy, the voice of the groom, the voice of the bride", and
"I am my beloved''s and my beloved is mine."
The writing in the center is the actual marriage contract, in both Hebrew and English.
No, I had those shoes and then realized they HURT so I'm still looking. And my dog smudged her dirty muddy nose on them the instant I took them out of the box, so they're dirty to boot.
I went to Nordstrom yesterday and they didn't have ANY Stuart Weitzmans in my size. Not. one. pair.
SO I bought another pair that I sorta kinda like, just in case. But I'm going to go to another Nordstrom this week and see if I can try on a pair of Weitzmans. I so want those gorgeous gold shoes, but I don't want to buy them if they're going to be uncomfortable.
I'll get a pic of the other shoes I bought when my camera battery is all charged up.
Awesome. I do hope that the SWs are comfy though. And I wish I had more $$$ and that they were in my size, because then I could order them and tell you if they are comfy or not!!
(I can''t wait to get out of school and get a job so I can buy fabulous designer shoes!)
Freke, honey, ou should totally get a job doing something with footwear. Shoe critic? Columnist? Personal shopper? I think you have a devoted following here on PS, already! I''d read your column.
