Trader Joe's has a new addition to their line up of Charles Shaw wines.

It is from Australia and is delightful.
It is another steal for $1.99 a bottle. ($2.99 in some states)

It is a little grassy and earthy.
Frankly, it reminds me of the home made wines I enjoyed when visiting homes of friends in Portugal.

Before you immediately dismiss a wine at this price. . . click here

Unfortunately, here in the UK I am unlikely to be able to sample this!

However, unlike a lot of things in life I do believe their are a lot of wines in the bargain basement price bracket that can be very pleasing. I only wish I could join you!

PA has such strict laws, so no 2Buck Chuck for us...

There''s a Trader Joe''s 10 minutes down the road, I may have to do a little field trip once my husband gets home

Hubby and I love Trader Joe''s wine selection. I haven''t tried this one yet. Grassy and earthy -- it sounds like it would be great with tappas, pasta, etc.

Nice wine glass, Kenny, btw.

Thanks.
I found it at a thrift store for 50 cents.

It had a maker's name engraved in the base so I looked up, HAWKES.
What a find!!!
When you pinch the rim it sounds like a bell with long sustain.

Turns out it is fine crystal and replacement cost is $39,99 per stem. Click

Thanks for the head's up, Kenny! We love the old Two Buck (our favorite's the Cab), so I'm excited to try this.

Oooo...thanks for the heads up, kenny!

Nice find! I checked out the link; I''d love to have a set of those -- the old fashioned champagne/sherbet glasses are to die for.
