There are SO many preggos and new moms on PS, I thought it would be fun to see how many people have made their journey from LIWhood while actively posting on PS, starting from pre-engagement to current?

For instance, I:

- Discovered PS in 2003
- Registered in 2004 and frequented LIW
- Got engaged in early 2006 and hung out on BWW
- Married Oct 2006
- Pregnant July 2007
- Gave birth April 2008

What about you? Did you complete the "cycle" on PS?

Here''s my journey:
Discovered PS (already engaged) - Nov 2004, hung out in SMTR and BBW (well when I first joined, there was no LIW or BBW. BBW became a sub-forum during my wedding planning)
Married - Nov 2005, still hung out in BBW mostly
Pregnant/conceived - Nov 2007 (first day of the cycle was in Oct), hung out in the PG thread.
Gave birth - July 2008, hung out in the Mommies thread.
Pregnant/conceived baby #2 - May 2009

Not quite for me. I heard about PS from Robbie while we were both LIW and she would sometimes send me links to posts, but I didn''t actually start reading and posting until I was already engaged. But I did transition from BWW to just reading Hangout to then religiously reading the family section as I got interested in TTC, and now have my own little one to post about!

Fun thread! I joined in 2008 but started lurking in 2007. Started as a LIW. Got engaged in July 2008 and graduated to BWW. Got my suprise BFP in October 2008. Had DD in July 2009. I still owe PS a wedding. One day...

I was a lurker for the most part at the beginning.

2003 - found PS and lurked
2004 - registered because i wanted to comment on this one ring that was simply gorgeous
- then lurked and actually followed some of the PS mommies' LIW and BIW stories
- (got engage in 2004 and married in 2005)
2007 - hangout in the Preggo thread
2008 - gave birth to first child
- frequent preggo and mommies (oh and TTC) thread

August 2005- Discovered/Registered at PS
November 2005- Engaged
September 2007- Married
March 2009- Announced pregnancy at 20 weeks in FH&H
June 2009- Gave birth to my son

Now, I mostly frequent FH&H for the pregnant/mommy threads as well as the Hangout forum.

Feb 07 - Engaged and had fun planing the wedding and playing around with the other brides in BWW
Feb 08 - Married and stopped posting so frequently because I had so many things going on adjusting to my new life!

Though I have been MIA (lurking and not posting) occasionally during the busier times in my life, I guess I have done a lot of growing up here! I haven''t totally completed the cycle yet, but getting close!

Jan 2005 - first joined when I started looking at engagement rings
May 14, 2005 - engaged!
June 25, 2006 - married!
And will start trying to conceive this December!

I think I joined late 2004 when I started researching diamond rings pre-engagement. I don''t recall posting in BWW because our wedding was pretty informal and low-key.
Engaged Mar 2005, married Jun 2005.
I have no clue when I joined in the TTC thread, but I''ve been on there a good long time, and will hopefully have my kiddie next March.

Yup

I lurked (in LIW and SMTR) starting the spring of 2006 and got engaged that August.
Continued to lurk but moved on to BIW and weekly weight loss/healthy living thread and got married in Aug 2007
Started to lurk in the TTC and pregnancy treads in 2008
Registered Summer of 2008 when we conceived.
DD was born March 2009.

I never posted anything about my diamond since it''s nothing compared to most rings here but seeing everyone''s settings here certainly helped me pick mine!

Not quite for me either. Didn't find PS until I was actively ring shopping ... so never really joined the LIW crowd. And, since I'm turning 42 next month, am nearing the faaaarrrr edge of my non-Octomom-psychotically-unsafe fertility possibilities w/no current plans to "complete" that "cycle" barring a kidnapping/insemination by a crazed in-vitro specialist and nine month internment.

May 2005 --- discovered PS
July 2005 --- joined officially & custom ring deposit made
September 2005 --- ring complete
November 2005 --- engaged
March 2006 --- began planning wedding (tardy!)
October 2006 -- HITCHED! (barn-style)

I have no good excuse for sticking around after that! Recipes???

Let's see, my journey on PS is:

Discovered PS mid 2005;
Joined PS in late 2005 and frequented LIW, RockyTalky, SMTR, Hangout;
Got engaged in Sept 2006, spent a bit of time in BWW but not much because-
I got married a couple months later in Nov. 2006;
Now I'm pregnant in Feb 2009;
Due to become a PS mommy in Nov 2009!

Hm, all March and November here!

PS is great, I met a girl who would become my best friend here around when I first joined. I''ve gotten to know many other PSers as well, speaking to a few of them daily.

I do love how the TTC/Preggo/Mommies threads are always supportive and controversy free - which when you consider all the hormones flying around is pretty amazing IMHO!

You're right Pandora, it is quite extraordinary and IMHO one of the best areas of the board. My theory is that the cute kiddies (like Daisy!) defuse any and all tension!

I''m a bit off the cycle, but I''ve watched soo many other ladies go through it all! I keep reading the prego list and thinking "but I just saw her wedding pics!", and then realize it''s been a year or two...

I found PS in 2003 after I bought an antique ring on ebay for my upgrade (which didn''t work out)
Joined in 2004 and quietly lurked
Hung out in BWW from 2007-2008 helping my mom plan her vow renewal & planning my friends wedding for her
Moved to the FH&H side when the mommy threads split and I already had a 3 month old
