and thought that their head looked HUGE in comparison to the rest of their body? Am I the only one who thinks being that thin just makes them look WRONG and DISPROPORTIONATE? I''ve definitely seen Kelly Rippa looking like this, and in the People''s Celebrity Ring quiz that was just posted, one of the celebrities (I won''t post who and give an answer away) just looks totally wrong because her head is huge in comparison to her body. Please tell me I''m not the only one who notices this and finds it strange and wrong.

I totally notice this - I call them bobbleheads! One who always bothers me is Giada DiLaurentis, and you''re right, Kelly Ripa is another one.

Hahaha totally. Lollipop, lollipop, oooh looolli lolli lolli...

I know what you mean. I saw Farrah Fawcett in person years ago and her head looked enormous, especially with her famous hairdo.

If their heads seem enormous in print, I think the magazines are probably photoshopping the heck out of their bodies. Like Redbook was caught doing to Faith Hill; she appeared on their cover with a weirdly out of proportion body to head ratio that even she took issue with. (Pun intended

Yes its lollipop syndrome, Victoria Beckham is an example of this.

Nicole Richie used to look like that, but she looks much better now. Still a little too thin, but more healthy.

I''ve read that in general celebrities have larger than normal heads.

I saw Leo Dicaprio and his head is gigantic. As for Giada Laurentes or whatever... I always think she''s like a T-Rex because her arms are so short in proportion to her body.

Yes, she is the first person who came to mind. Same with Lara Flynn Boyle.

I saw Tracy Bingham or whatever from Baywatch. Total Bobblehead! And this was when I was in college weighing 120lbs, I thought she looked like a child! Very offputting!

Nicole Richie is a classic lollipop. LOL.

Keira Knightly is another example!

Aren''t they called candy apples?

YES! My coworker reads People magazine and I always said that the girls in there all look like lollipop heads! You are so right, it''s very strange.

Yes! I''ve seen Kelly Ripa (she looked MUCH better when she was curvier) and Victoria Beckham sporting this ''look''. It''s very unflattering, I''m thinking - how could they/or anyone else think this looks good???

YES! I notice this all the time with really skinny celebrities. It looks very strange.

A friend of mine went to the Academy Awards a few years ago. I asked what had impressed her the most [I''m thinking the gowns, jewelry, that type of thing]. Nope. What had impressed her the most was how big everybody''s head was! LOL!

I remember I once thought this about Nicole Kidman... but she looks much much better recently.

Nicole Richie comes to mind...

Oh man, Giada is the worst one!! Haha. Funny.

I think it''s more than just being skinny, because most models don''t really have that look. I think it''s a combo of skinny and short that does it!!

I have always thought this about John Mayer....
Maybe the Olsen twins with their bug-eyed sunglasses....

OMG. My side is hurting. It''s three in the morning and I''m cracking up. bobblehead syndrome . . . omg

Yes, Beckham, that buttless wonder. She has the behind of an elderly mechanic. You know the type--nothing in the pants from the back of the belt loops to the hem at the cuffs! I also thought of Rachel Bilson although not quite as severe as some, and Renee Zellweger.

Yep, it''s definitely the lollipop look.

Many many yrs ago in NYC theater disctrict I saw Sarah Jessica Parker. I swear that I thought to myself who''s this crack head walking toward me. She was soooooo skinny that she looked like she was on drugs. This was AGES ago when she was doing the Princess and the Pea on Broadway. All you saw when she was walking was a very very skinny body with high heels. I''m glad to say that she plumped up (if you call a sz 0-2 plumped up) but she looks GREAT now. I see her all of the time and her weight looks fine for her small body.
