Hiya folks. I''ve been lurking and reading for several weeks now and I have learned enough to be dangerous.
I have looked at a Large selection of stones over the past couple of weeks, and finally decided to order one today from JA. Unfortunately, I have this HUGE issue with buyers remorse, and I need some advice about the purchase PLEASE!
This almost seems like a ''too good to be true'' stone, but it is GIA certified and the IdeaScope image looks great. It might continue to show up on the site for the next couple of days, so you might still be able to view it until they update the website: item # 1101963. Here are the stone specs:
1.00 carat, VS1, G
6.39 x 6.45 x 3.95mm
ex cut, ex polish, ex symmetry
faint fluoro
Measurements:
57%
61.5%
med-slthk
crown angle = 34 degrees
pavilion angle = 40.8 degrees
No culet
So from what I''ve seen available elsewhere, this is a HECKUVA deal. Why so cheap? The faint fluoro? I thought it wouldn''t make much difference, or if anything, might possibly enhance the color a little bit... Ideas?
