Hiya folks. I''ve been lurking and reading for several weeks now and I have learned enough to be dangerous. :) I have looked at a Large selection of stones over the past couple of weeks, and finally decided to order one today from JA. Unfortunately, I have this HUGE issue with buyers remorse, and I need some advice about the purchase PLEASE!

This almost seems like a ''too good to be true'' stone, but it is GIA certified and the IdeaScope image looks great. It might continue to show up on the site for the next couple of days, so you might still be able to view it until they update the website: item # 1101963. Here are the stone specs:

1.00 carat, VS1, G
6.39 x 6.45 x 3.95mm
ex cut, ex polish, ex symmetry
faint fluoro

Measurements:
57%
61.5%
med-slthk
crown angle = 34 degrees
pavilion angle = 40.8 degrees
No culet

So from what I''ve seen available elsewhere, this is a HECKUVA deal. Why so cheap? The faint fluoro? I thought it wouldn''t make much difference, or if anything, might possibly enhance the color a little bit... Ideas?

I think your buyer''s remorse will be going straight out the window when you see this little beauty in real life! :)

Do you have the link to the stone? So far so good, no red flags. I wouldn''t worry about the price, JA is a very reputable company.

Thanks Ellen!

Beautiful stone, absolutely nothing to worry about on this one!! It should be killer in person.

If you are on a budget you could drop in clarity to VS2 or SI1, but if this is in your budget and you prefer a more pure stone than this is an excellent one!!

Ya did good! Beautiful stone. Grats!!!

You know, I completely neglected to mention to price... Duhr! The listed price was $6850, which the fine folks at JA reduced to $6500 for mentioning pricescope.com. :-D Woot!

Alrighty, I feel much better about it now. Thanks all! I highly appreciate the supportive comments. Now on ot the ''proposal'' threads so I can figure out how I''m gonna pop ''the question''. Thanks again!
