I bought a cushion cut diamond fr $6500 it is 1 ct. I am not sure about the measurements. Can anyone tell me if i bought a good diamond? I get compliments about how blingy it is and when i am driving my roof is lit up with shards of light reflecting off my diamond. Here are the stats...

meauserments = 5.87x5.51x3.60 mm
carat weight = 1 ct
colour grade = D
clarity grade = SI1
polish = excellent
symmetry = good
fluorescence = none

ADGL
Shape = cushion

crown angle = 36.3

We can't tell you anything about the cut quality based off the measurements for a cushion. An ASET image is best but aside from that, pictures will help. If you are satisfied with how sparkly it is though then I'd say you got a good one.

If you love it and it makes you happy, then you got a good one! :love:

There are so many more facets and angles that are not listed in the GIA memo. In short, the numbers for cushions or other fancies tell very little in terms of light performance. When shopping for fancies, either get an ASET or if your eyes are well trained, you will be able to pick the best one in person.

I agree with Christina, you have already bought the diamond and if you love the way it looks than its a good one :)
