Has Whiteflash updated its Tiffany solitaire? How does it compare to Superbcert?

I thought I saw something in a past thread about WF changing their design. Is it true? If so, when did this happen, and does anyone have the updated setting?

How does the updated setting compare to SuperbCert''s?

Also, is it true that Superbcert is not willing to alter its prong tips? I think I saw that somewhere else as well.

Frances, we did modify the design on our Tiffany solitaire setting; I believe that was within the last year or so.

(FYI - hers is the half-round version and not the knife-edge version, but I believe you're most concerned with the modified head and these pictures show it well.)

Hi Frances,

I have the Superbcert tiffany replica. I love it! We were torn between the SC and Whiteflash setting as both are marvelous, but my fi decided to go with Superbcert in the end since he was only 15 minutes from Manhattan at the time. I have a thread with pictures, but I''ll have to dig it up for you. I think both companies will do an excellent job. but I could not be happier with my setting and I get compliments on it (and the stone) all the time. I''m not sure about altering the prongs...what modifications would you like to make? Good luck and let us know what you decide!!

I''d like to have the prong tips rounded/squared off like the original tiffany. I also might want them shaved down a little.
I''ve always loved the SC setting but I am curious about the WF now that they''ve updated it.
