Has the PS website been slow on your end?

You're not alone — I've noticed some slowness too recently, both on mobile and desktop. Could be temporary server-side issues or something affecting performance like ad scripts or third-party content. Might help to try clearing your cache or checking with a different browser just to rule out local issues. Hopefully it speeds back up soon!

3.5 seconds

Oh Yeah! I remember you saw my FCD's in Vegas years back.

But, WOW @Garry H (Cut Nut) :kiss2:
What a gem of a gem your FVP marquise is!!! ... and what distinguished provenance!!!

I just started reading, The Impossible story of Australian Diamonds, by Stuart Kells.
He's based in Melbourne, so perhaps you know him.

The pivotal roles of names in your listing, Bill Leslie, and Ewen Tyler feature prominently in Kell's book.

Fascinating book ... well for us FCD geeks.

WOW! I paid just US $23 paperback a couple months ago, but now it's US $48.
Must be selling well.

Stuarts book launch was held in my store Kenny.
With Ewen and Bill. And the author of the forword who is Australias most eminent historian.
Geoffrey Blainey. Google him.
A week later we all had lunch at the Melbourne Club. 150 year old ESTABLISHMENT.
These guys are all in 80s and 90s and as sharp as a tack.
One of the best days of My life!

I still think this is due to structure chnges. I am on Chrome and after about 8 seconds of waiting, turned off "Preload Pages" feature, that usually caches the website to save time. Since there is a structural change, that is causing a slowdown. Now this was turned off, the page and links are loading right away.

To turn off in Chrome Browser:

Go to 3 dots, and go to Settings
Go to Performance
Go to the "Speed" section and turn off "Preload Pages"

turn off Preload Pages.gif

Pages are loading more slowly for me on Safari.

Very slow!

Yep, has been super sluggish for a long time now. Often pages take so long to load, my phone screen dims before they do - if they deign to do so at all. As I result I more and more often just give up and proceed to occupy myself with something else.

Over 30 seconds for a different thread to load. I gave up as it was still churning…

ETA: The above is on my iPhone, on Safari.

No better luck here either. I assume it is still be worked on - hopefully better days are ahead!

We are working on it.
So sorry for the inconvenience.

Yep same here, Safari Apple iPhone.
