I am new to posting but have lurked for ages.
I feel like I know everyone !! I am so jealous of all the sparklies !!

My question is has anyone purchased from sndgems.com ( Sparkle n Dazzle in NYC).

I found the perfect platinum chain to hang a custom diamond cross pendant that I have planned.

Would love some input before taking the plunge.....

I''ve never heard of them. I would call Mark at Engagement Rings Direct. He is very honest and has good prices and is right in the diamond district so he can get almost anything.

Hi & thank you for the replies!

I should be a bit more clear about the type of fancy chain that I am looking at .
It is a lacey Italian chain in a figaro pattern ( I think that is what it''s called).
On the sndgems.com it is the item identified as PTITALY4 18".
I have no idea how to post a link... quite technologically challenged I am afraid

I have an idea in mind for a custom diamond cross but have not had it made yet. Would love to hear ideas on who to contact for a custom piece with a vintage/Deco engraved sensibility.

Yes!!

That is the chain. I have not seen anything like it anywhere. I am located in Nova Scotia and I do not have much variety locally.
I love the lacey dainty feeling and would love any sugestions as to options.
I do not know the gram weight of the chain and have e-mailed the vendor and hope to hear back.

The look that I am trying to create is one similar to a Jude Frances piece that Oprah has but in platinum not white gold.
The design of the cross that I would like made would be a very feminine engraved milgrained Diamond Juliette style.

I don''t know anything about the company in questions, but if they do not do custom jewelry than you are going to have to look elsewhere to get your cross made, so you might as well ask the same place if they can do the chain for you as well.

Just send them a copy of the picture and link I posted above and see what they can do

I have personally worked with whiteflash.com, but if you ask other other people will jump in with some more recommendations for custom work.

Also, it is always an option to order the chain from sparkle and have it sent to the place making your cross. They can than evaluate it and let you know if it is a quality piece or not and you can return it if needs be.
