Hello,

I am currently looking for a 1920''s/30''s ring and saw one at the weekend that I liked very much, the salesperson said that the main diamond is an intermediate diamond but I cannot find any information on this cut, the ring is 1920''s and also has rose cut diamonds - has anyone heard of this cut and can they tell me anything about it?

Many Thanks

Hey, Lottie. It is usually called transitional cut. You can search transitional cut on PS and get lots of info.

Thank you very much.

Called "transitional" because it was cut during a time when there was an ongoing "transition" from one cutting style to another and often presenting traits of two kinds of cuts
