Not in real life but yes. I think its, what, a tycoon or a Criss cut?

I think they are cool but does it always have that much obstruction? Does it always look that dark when you look at it?

I don't think that's a cushion. I think that's an asscher.

If it is a cushion then the pavillion is a step cut. SO the closest to that is actually the Tiffany Legacy cut.

Are you sure the report is for the right stone? Can you load the report so I can see the faceting diagram and see it matches the stone?

OK. So the lab report matches. What an odd duck.
To me it looks like a Legacy.

its hard to really evaluate b/c theres so much shadowy blackness in the actual picture

i can't determine if i like it or not…

its just so different from anything i have ever seen!

Are you looking for strange? Do you like step cuts? Because this is more step cut, to me, than cushion. And yes, from the pics it looks like it might have obstruction issues.
