Thank you, Karl. Mine was happy. And quiet. I even played a card game because my family played that instead of a board game today. (I hate playing cards. This was a strange game, though. Not a normal game.) At any rate, I hope your Thanksgiving was happy, too.

All the family got along and the kids didn't fight so it was a good day!!

Karl, Your comment made me LOL. There are years many families feel exactly like that!

This is a bit of a threadjack. I just looked up the card game we played on Thanksgiving and found it had its origins in the 1930's and is played in almost every country of the world with its own name there. I was told it was called, "Up and Down The River". It has, apparently, been known by many other names just in the United States and is known by as l'ascenseur (Elevator) in France, Bust in Australia, and Nomination Whist in the UK.

lol true.
Last year we were not so lucky the teenage cousins got into a minor fight and a couple of the "adults" took sides and blew it out of proportion and everyone went home early.
So compared to last year it was awesome!

I love this thread. Although I am one of the people who enjoys the political threads, it reminds me of why I loved Pricescope back in the days when politics was forbidden and also when it was in another area. The only problem back then was that not all threads were this wonderful. Some were just silly as can be. But thank you for this one, Karl! So nice to feel that family feeling.

Hugs,
(((Karl)))
