Its Thanksgiving here in Canada!
Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadians and everyone else! I don't like to leave anyone out.
There is so much going on in the World that I wish I could change. The past week has been heartbreaking, thinking about the people who lost their lives or were injured in Las Vegas, the ones who weren't injured physically but experienced the horror. The first responders, medical personnel, others who were in the area who did everything they could to help. And the loved ones of each of these individuals.
This isn't the only horrible event. There are lots we'd change if we could.
However, there's also a lot of good in most people. Positive changes, advancements, and acts of kindness and compassion occur everyday around the World; sometimes unreported and under-the-radar.
I have many blessings in my life and am thankful for each and every one.
I'm thankful to have found PS and read so many posts offering support and strength to others struggling with serious situations. You're a good group of people.
Well, I hear some sweet potatoes calling my name.
Wishing you all a wonderful day, whether or not its filled with turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie.
