After speaking with a few florists and meeting one in person, FI and I were scared!

Everyone we met seemed...well...stuffy. It didnt even seem like they wanted our business. Like it was a waste of time to talk/meet with us. In retrospec I guess it was a waste of their time since they wont be getting our business....

ANYWAY. We found a florist!

We met her last week and she just sent over a price quote of things we discussed. In the meeting she was great and very interested in our likes/dislikes and had alot of good suggestions and when she sent us our price quote, she included all the options we talked about. So we could see difference in prices of the bouquets and centerpeices with the different flower types and arrangements.

On top of that, her prices are pretty reasonable. Bridal Bouquets for under $100 and about $60 for bridesmaids. And we live in Los Angeles!

Im so happy, looks like things are finally coming together! The only big things left are the DJ and invitations

Yay, that''s great! And pooh on the rest of those florists--they made their own self-fulfilling prophecy of wasting their time because they didn''t give a hoot about you, the customer. Sounds like you ended up with a winner!

congrats. never dealt with a florist before and didn''t know they could be so stuffy! like you''re doing them a favor. good you didn''t go with them and picked the one who is actually interested in making your day beautiful the way you want it and affordable.

That must be such a weight off your mind. Planning weddings is rough enough without the snobbery of people who are supposed to be helping you! I''m so glad you found the perfect florist at a great price.

yaaaaaay!!! those really are stellar prices, too--about the same as mine, except i''m in georgia, so some of the californians (ahem GYPSY cough cough

) have pouted over the insane prices on the west coast. feels great to have it figured out, huh?
