I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy and healthy Mother's Day tomorrow.
I know this is probably one of the (if not the) strangest Mother's Day you ever celebrated.
How are you going to celebrate?
Social distancing in person?
Zoom interaction?
Via conventional telephone?
What if anything will you be doing that is special for the day?
I know for most of us it is a difficult Mother's Day because we cannot hug our moms, our grandmoms, our children, our grandchildren, our nieces and nephews. Not this year but hopefully next year.
Warm wishes to all the moms and grandmothers and aunts.
Dearest PSers, happy Mother's Day
And there is no better time to just say
wherever you are, wherever you roam
Wherever your loves ones are, is your home
You are all amazing in your unique way
Sharing my thoughts with you on this May Day
Generous, giving, caring and kind
Full of love and sweetness, support that shines
You have daughters and sons, kitties and dogs
Even ponies and birds, chickens and hogs
You put lots of love into the days
You make most worries just go away
It's all about priorities and when it comes to that
PSers have it straight and that's just a fact
Diamonds and gems, all so special that's true
It brings joy and sparkles to me and you
But what brings so much love to all of us
is love between mother and child of course
Today of all days is a good time to say
PS mommas, PS kids, come what may
You support each other, whatever day
good or bad, happy or sad, bling or not
Your PS moms, daughters, sons and the lot
All special, mere words cannot impart
The love you share, the bond tightly knot
Happy Mother's Day, to one and to all
This year may be strange but you will not fall
Coronavirus is hanging around
But we won't give up, we will hold our ground
Strong love supports you, holds you sure and strong
With love like that you can never go wrong
Stay safe and be healthy
Know you are much beloved
One day, soon hopefully
Once again all can hug

I am sharing a pic of my mom and me circa summer 1985. I spent the summer in Europe by myself and she and my dad and my sister flew out to meet me my last 2 weeks in Italy. She was younger here than I am now.
