One of my favorite composers!! He would be 170 years old today. Any other fans?

I love Tchaikovsky! One of the radio DJ''s here had his birthday today too, and was all excited about the fact that he shared the same birthday with Tchaikovsky, and so he played his music in the background all the way through his time slot. It was great!

I was talking on a board for gay men, and this topic is being discussed there. I said that I loved Tchaikovsky because it reminded me of my ballet days and they were like, "That''s the gayest statement ever."

The Nutcracker Suite is my favorite ballet of all time! Just hearing a measure of ANY PART of that suite makes me feel like a little girl at Christmas time... Warm and cozy!

In London''s dance recital last weekend, there was a snippet of Swan Lake during her ballet dance and it made me grin. It''s such beautiful music and it was cute to watch the little 6 year olds waving their arms on stage like they were flying so gracefully as they walked towards us, and then touch the back of their hand to their foreheads and run to the back of the stage so dramatically!

The music gives me goosebumps it''s just so beautiful! I love classical music.
