As the owner of soon to be three dogs, I wish that were the case here. I know it sounds sad, but professional displays are cheaper and more impressive anyway.

Calling weather right now is a riot. We're trying to make a plan to meet my sister-in-law, with our families, to have dinner and see fireworks, and figuring out what to do

The guy, you can tell, is feeling pressure (when you call weather).

He's saying...rain to stop by 7 - 7:30, but tornado watch until 10. Rain expected to return after fire works end. Have fun.

I wish the law against illegal fireworks was actually enforced here in our neighborhood! Seems a lot of people go out of their way to cross state lines and obtain them and then set them off in their tiny little backyards here, I''m outside on the patio right now by myself because the dogs are so terrified they have to stay inside with DH.

Happy Independence Day everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful 4th! We had a nice time over at DH''s parents'' house and now we''re on dog-watch until who knows when later tonight!
