Handmade Holiday, Anyone?

Great handmade gifts, everyone! We have some very talented PSers!

I make a lot of bead jewelry for friends and women in my family. Mostly I like to make bracelets and necklaces, and sometimes I like to use real stones, like turquoise, garnet, etc., at least for accent stones.

SanDiegoLady - please post photos of the finished product when done. they are really pretty. I will keep the pattern.

I finished the stocking for my mom this weekend. we don''t have much sun during the winter, so this was the best photo I was able to take this morning.

I made this doll for my little niece a couple of weeks ago but still need to work on some clothes. I had a blast making Leelee (yes, thats her name) and would like to do a couple more dolls in the future. I am not crafty but this was fun.

I''m gonna agree with Clio - I''m not crafty, but I do love to cook! Every year my mom and I make a special holiday bread for our neighbors. It''s a great gift (especially since our neighbors don''t really cook, so it''s not something they would ever make themselves).

One year we did gingerbread cookies too and decorated them up. Very cute! Though I''d want to be more artisitic before I try that again

akmiss - LeeLee is so cute! but please get some clothes on that poor girl as it''s winter and we don''t want her to freeze to death! did you buy her in a kit or come up with the whole thing by yourself?

I know! The poor girl needs some clothes

This is my second doll but the first one was a kit from www.dancingraindolls.com. Leelee is about two inches smaller than the first doll so I had to adapt the pattern. It was great fun and I am encouraging others to try

I designed and knit a stocking for my mom this year, but I haven''t taken pictures yet! I need to get on that.
