do these freak anyone else out? it just looks weird to see hand mannequins modeling rings (as opposed to actual hands).

What really freaks me out are the hip-down mannequins for pants!! I've seen shop windows that have these mannequins cut off at the hip! Wearing pants! So creepy.

In general, any disembodied part of a plastic person is a little creepy.

I'd rather see the ring on an even, neutral colored surface, and then at least one _real_ hand shot, even if the hand is not attractive.
