I can''t decide what I want to do (if anything) with my hair. I will be wearing a chapel length drop veil and big earrings, with no necklace (pics below) .
Here is a messy version of what my hair will look like - she did my first choice style and I hated it on me, and so she had a little extra time so she did a really quick version of another idea I had and I loved it.
I think you could definitely add some bling to your hair without looking over the top. The hair do is pretty, but a little plain on it''s own. I think something like this would do the trick. etsy hair pins
http://www.whiteaisle.com/sasha_hair_pins.html these are cute too. But I''d probably go with this: http://www.whiteaisle.com/shimmer_comb.html Right at the top of where the bun starts, and do your viel with loops that can thread through the tines of the comb. Then when you are ready to take your viel off, you pull the comb out, take the viel off, then put the comb back in.
Love your earrings! Love the dress! Love the hair, its one of my first choices! I also love the idea of something sparkly in your hair such as a comb or hair pins. I especially love the comb Gypsy posted!
Thank you guys! It looks like something sparkly wins out! (Should I be surprised here?)
Sunnyd - Thanks, I am definitely NOT planning on wearing my veil the whole time. That sucker is coming off as soon as we are done with pictures!
Mayachel - Thanks, I hadn''t thought of looking on Etsy
Gypsy - That comb is the actually the one I had in mind, but I LOVE those pins you posted too!
Ilovesparkles - Thank you!
Morgie44...I think I told you this before, but I LOVE your dress! I also love your hairstyle!!!
I personally am going for the flower under my veil, and taking my veil off after the ceremony, and leaving in the flower for the rest of the night. I''m just wearing earrings as well. If you don''t want to do the flower, a sparkly brooch/pin in your hair would look great!
I''m also going to rip off my veil for the reception (the better to boogie). I just bought a blinged out hair comb from Kleinfeld, but I was also was considering a bling comb from Regina B. I highly recommend Regina B!! She has so many, and she can custom make them to suit you.
