I am SO excited. Not only is this my first purchase with WF but I am replacing the studs (well, I only lost one) I lost this past summer. The new ones are BEYOND nicer than what I had. They are:
I am dying since the FedEx will be coming to a local branch in NJ and I will be in NYC all day for work! I won''t be able to pick them up until probably 7:30pm or so but you can be sure that I''ll be doing a quick little photo shoot as soon as I get them home. Might even try and convince the BF to take some ear photos.
I can''t believe I got G''s!!!!
And ACA''s!
They just look so incredible in the WF photo that I am sure they will be even more stunning in person.
Ok so I am the WORST macro photographer in the WORLD! This is ironic since photography is my avocation! I''m going to try and attach a few ear shots and other photos that I just took and I will tell you upfront that they suck. BUT -- the one ear shot with 2 diamonds is my brand spanking new G/SI1 (which DEAR GOD looks like a 1/2 carat) vs. my awful cut but still adorable .25 J/SI2 (which is probably a K/I1 really). The second shot with the single ear is the matching stone to the new pair.
I have a few call outs to Whiteflash -- I mean, really, how does ANYONE do business this simply, this effectively, this efficiently and deliver the most outstanding product? I am FLOORED. From Katie to Shandel to Tim (master photographer) and Alan!!! Really the most fantastic experience ever.
The pictures just don''t do these stones REMOTELY justice. The color difference is MASSIVE between my alleged J and these amazing G''s but in person it is so incredible. Honestly I never thought I was color sensitive, but now I know I totally am. I checked my new stones out with the H&A viewer and WOW! And when I looked at my teeny tiny .25 wow was it a blurby mess of light leakage!!!
So please pardon my crappy photography. Tomorrow I will try and get some outdoor shots and really pick up the fire in these stone!
