Can you tell anything other than the stone has an H&A pattern from the H&A image? The supplier doesn't have ASET image.

It's a 1.5Ct vvs2 tripleEX. HCA scored it 1.2, all excellent apart from spread...

I have another offering of 1.51Ct VS1 triple EX but HCA score it's at 2.7 The Aset image is here

Comments welcome and many thanks in advance! :)

Please share GIA/AGS report numbers and your budget. You haven't provided enough information for us to be able to fully recommend a stone. There is a very clear light leakage under the table for stone 2, so I would rule that one out.

Definitely prefer the first stone over the second. The H&A image shows a well cut and very symmetric stone - I only see a small cleft in one heart. Could they get you an ideal scope or ASET? What are the angles?

The second stone shows leakage under the table and a lot of green along the edges. I would eliminate that one for sure...there are plenty of rounds out there.

Thank you for the reply.
Both are rated by GIA as triple EX in cut:
The 1st stone is vvs2: D61.1%, T58% and 34/40.8
The 2nd stone is vs1: D62.6% T57% and 35.5/40.8
The 1st stone is about 1800$ more expensive....

The second stone is a touch too deep and we recommend a lower pavilion angle (~40.6) if the crown angle is 35.5 or higher. This is a contributing factor to why there's leakage and less light return going on.

What's your budget and desired specs?

Thanks. Yes. I guess what you said agree with the HCA scoring.
I am looking at stones close to this spec with good optical appearance around $17K.

What color? This is a super ideal cut and is an excellent balance of specs:
