GYPSY please help me!!!!! Or anyone!!! need advice

I stand by my comment in your other thread. Since you do not have a time constraint, I would keep looking for a better performer where the asscher sparkles evenly instead of only on the outer edges.

Green is fine but we really like to see more red.

Thanks for the advice everyone I will be posting three new ASET images from JA as soon as they are emailed to me. Could be later today or tomorrow.

Not sure if you are willing go go to the secondhand marketplace, but this user selected their diamond using the PS team and the ring is offered at a very reasonable price. You could take out the center stone and reset it. Then use the existing setting for a right hand ring.

It's not a bad asscher. Given how poorly cut most asschers are it's above average. At 5mm though, it's quite small.
You really don't need an E IF.
I would seriously consider a G VS2 that is larger. You can't appreciate the cut at 5mm.

I agree with Gypsy. I would go to H color to increase size as much as possible as asschers are very small especially if they are deep.

The one linked on idonowidont is an example of one that faces up smaller than it should due to being way too deep at 77% (5.3x5.2mm diameter). I remember them coming here for setting help very well, but I don't remember us helping with that stone. I am sad to see that ring for sale considering all the effort that went into getting it made like they wanted. My 1.0 ct asscher faces up at 5.5 mm (plus a halo) and I would not go smaller than that for an e-ring.

Thank you GYPSY and thanks to everyone else as well. JA still hasn't sent me the images of the three new diamonds, so my hope is that I can post them as soon as I see them some time tomorrow.

Everyone these are the other three that I am considering, I'm still waiting on the ASET images from james Allen

Please let me know what you all think.....it is greatly appreciated I sincerely mean this. So thank you all in advance.

These stones are all priced between $3300-$3600 is this reasonable

What is your budget?

Not sure of the performance of this one, it's got some potential and the spread and

Don't know if it's out of budget but this one might be an option as well: http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/asscher-cut/1.08-carat-h-color-vvs1-clarity-sku-369802

And this one, the spread isn't fantastic, but it's better than many of those posted: http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/asscher-cut/0.90-carat-f-color-vs2-clarity-sku-481907

Out of those I'd go with the 1st one.

Thanks would you choose this over the .74 IF color E at the very top of this post. The areas of black are scaring me but there seems to be much more read than the very first stone I inquired about

The first one of the latest three has the best ASET, but I'd say it is good and not great. The stone is not square. It is more rectangular. It is also small. I hope you are doing a halo setting. I would set it north-south.
