I FAINTED!

Has been a while for me and I wanted to tell you all of the dangers of getting alterations.

First of all, it was about 75 and raining outside and the tailors had the heater on. I mean, HEATER 90 degrees heater! Then they were tugging and pinning my bodice and then I blacked out. Luckily, I saw it coming so as soon as I blacked out I told them and sat down so I didn''t actually fall, so both me and my dress are okay.

Just wanted to share with you all! :)

Misysu! I was beginning to wonder where you ran off to!

Glad to hear you and dress are both ok! About a year ago, I was with a close friend at her dress fitting and she also passed out - i think a mixture of heat and standing perfectly still for long periods of time get to your head!

Glad to know I'm not alone on the fainting thing, Cleo! Let's just hope I can stay conscious during the wedding itself!

I'm still alive, but barely! FI's medical school graduation is May 20th, we're leaving for the wedding on May 21, our wedding is on May 25, our stuff is packed and shipped May 28, we have to be out of the apartment May 31, and FI has to start his job in Washington State June 15!

Cripes Batman! We're wedding planning, job training, and house hunting at the same time. At least I hopefully won't have too many more life-altering experiences crammed into such a small space of time again any time soon.

Oh honey I''m glad you are ok! I feel you on the schedule. I have family coming in from out of state/out of country starting this week. My DH graduates May 28th, we renew our vows (big wedding style. never had a wedding) on May 31st. We''ll be driving from CA to Boston to get there by June 15th. So, I definitely feel ya! Packing, wedding, stressing, etc. No wonder you fainted!

I am glad you''re okay hun (and the dress of course)! Lordy you''re busy. Here''s some get through everything smoothly with the least stress possible PS dust! What an exciting time. :)

I''m glad to hear you''re ok. It must have been really uncomfortable in there! Good luck with your crazy schedule!

I''m glad you are OK!!!

I have been in such situations before.....they suck!
The worst is when you KNOW you are going down, and there is no way to stop it.
I was so scared I would faint on my wedding day, but it was fine.
