Supposedly she turned down the Emmy nomination because she wasn''t happy with the writers and that they''ll be booting her from the show.

I hope not either.

The band is called The Rescues (my friend is the guy of the trio, Gabe), and the song is the acoustic version of their "Crazy Ever After". It's a GREAT song! I can't wait to see how it's worked into the episode!!

I'm really hoping it'll give them a lot of exposure, because they are soooooo great. Yay!

Musey, I checked out their site and I listened to a little bit of the song. (Can't listen too much since I'm at work.) They sound really good! I'll definitely pay attention while I'm watching Grey's tonight so I can hear the rest of the song!

You should hear the acoustic version (the one they'll be using on the show)--OMG it's AMAZING! The regular version is good, but it's nothing compared to the acoustic version.

Shonda also claimed that Heigel asked her to write Izzy light so she could work on other projects and movies. She seem perplexed that Heigel complained about her character''s storylines/writing.

That character (Izzy) wasn''t all that great last season. They played her out to be "dumb" and ditzy when she isn''t. At least that''s the impression I got from last season.

I liked Izzy best when she was going thru her Denny relationship, and when he died, I thought that was a stellar performance. After that, I think she went downhill on the show.

joflier, I definitely agree. I''ve found her character harder and harder to like. I do hope something happens with Alex and Izzie this season. He seems to have matured a bit and I have always liked their banter.
