If there are no Pricescope vendors, I would call your insurance agency and ask for a referral to an independent appraiser. The appraiser may be able to give you some idea where to sell it. If it is an heriloom diamond, are you sure you want to sell it?
I set up an appointment to get it appraised, (thanks for appraisal links) then I''ll post all info and a pic for anyone interested in taking a look. Should be fun.
1) Get a GIA report enphatic in color grade ( green unfortunately are the most easy to get artificial HPHT or irradiate , even before early 40''s). They are 3 possible grades that can be combined one with anothers , it means you have at least 6 possible kinds of colors hues... they came from amazing expensive to relative cheapest ones , but because the size of the stone you ever cold get a good deal....
2) Once youre sure the stone is a natural colored diamond , you will need to proceed for a action or to tryTto deal directly with Harry Winston ( they are commonly interesting in big colored stone like you have , of course , if they are natural.
3) Dubai Diamond merchants ( United Arab Emirates) could be an exellent place to sell it , and the money will not a big issue..
4) I can tell you that this stone only cold be mined mainly from Brasil, Venezuela, British Guyana, Cote d Ivory, Sierra Leone or Ghana. If you know this stone came from another origin , you will take double chek it....
5) You could expect to have an authentic tresure...... when try to trade the stone , pls go step by step... try to looking 4 a reputable teller...... Diamonds can rise 500% their value if are properly trade 4 reputable DIAMANTAIRES...TRY WITH OLDMINER......
, BUT IF YORE NOT AN VERY SEASONED DIAMANTAIRE, PLS , DO NOT TRY TO SELL ALONE ( WITOUT EXPERT ADVICE) THIS STONE, OR CERTAINLY THE ONLY YOU WILL BE GET IS A BAD BUSINESS TO YOU... AND LOTS OF MONEY TO ANOTHER....
Hoping u very good look....
