Hello Everyone,
I'm looking for a green asscher sapphire and could really use your help. I'm looking for a green or greenish blue sapphire. Heated OK. Color is less important than cut and finger coverage. :naughty: No particular origin is important to me though I do like some Montanas. Can anyone point me in a good direction? My budget is $5K or less.

Thank you for the reply! It's very pretty but maybe too blue....and the lack of returns makes me nervous at that price.

Perhaps something more like this (the setting is a non-starter bc I can't wear white gold but I like the stone a lot):

You may want to contact Grace: some owners are willing to separate the setting from the stone.

If you are after a specific cut (especially asscher cut), colour, and gem size, your best bet is to have a lapidary cut one for you.

That stone isn't an asscher. Would you be happy with any square cut?

OP you may want to put a hold on the one Sparkliesluver posted as that will get snapped up. It is gorgeous and I'm sure Jerry can answer any questions about the cutting and Blaze has an excellent return policy. A Gorgeous Montana sapphire!!!

Thank you; I did not know that. I emailed JBG and I'll let you know what I find out.

Contact Blaze and ask about this one. Jerry cut it, so the faceting is amazing. Jerry actually sent me pictures before he sent it back to Blaze, so I'll see if I can find them (because they're much better than Blaze's).

ETA: Found the pictures!

SparkliesLuver, That is an amazing lead, thank you! I'm wondering if the color would be too light...or unsaturated...I'm fence-sitting. I have medium brown skin and wonder that the color may be too light to work with my complexion.

That's a very good question....Maybe? I'm now looking at emerald cuts and octagons, for sure. My heart is with asschers but I might be willing to look at other square cuts or step cuts...

I'm confusing myself. Ugh.

Honestly? If you have a medium brown skin tone, I think it'd look fantastic (because it'd pop). But that's just my two cents. If you're able to order it and see it in person, I think that'd help you decide one way or the other - on that particular stone and on tone in general.
