Please join me n welcoming Kira Lin to the world. 9 pounds 6 ounces of deeply loved bay girl.

She was quite reluctant to give up her previous living quarters, taking over 20 hours of labor, but was finally convinced that mom was NOT letting her stay.

I suspect that in another twenty years or so mom and dad will have to boot her out into another world all together, but for now she has a secure living arrangement.

Both grandparents were exhausted after worrying all day about their baby girl having a baby...

Mom and Dad are tired but happy and baby is already learning how to eat. Life is good and we will be visiting them in three more long weeks.

Just got off the phone with them and it was fun to hear baby "talking" about wanting more...

LOL, I too love dogs, but every ten to twelve years you have to start over. My new puppy comes home from the trainer the end of this month and I am hoping he will get to hunt both this year and next with my old girl before she leaves me. It is hard enough with dogs, I could not do it with my grand kids. I want those grand kids to out live me by another couple of generations. That is the way it should be.

Yes, but both my daughter and my son-in-law have requested that I refrain from posting more pictures on the web of their children.

As much as I wish to post the pictures I get of my precious grand children, I must honor that request.

I could post some pictures of my puppy, in whose house I will reside should I post pictures of my new granddaughter...
