Hello everyone!

I am a long-long-LONG time lurker and this is my very first post. I hope I am posting this in the right forum! I am FINALLY starting to look around at new diamonds/new settings for my ten-year anniversary upgrade (I have been married a little over 12 years now ... better late than never!).

At one of my local B&M''s, the salesgirl showed me a cut called a "Grace of Antwerp." She told me that they are the only jeweler in the state that sells this cut. I did a search in the PS forums and didn''t find any posts about this one. Google and Yahoo searches turned up only a handful of articles, which looked pretty much the same as the brochure they gave me at the store.

In a nutshell, this cut has 81 facets and looks similar to a princess cut with rounded corners. The store only had a few stones in stock, and she told me that if I decided to go with that stone, the cutter would find an appropriate stone and cut it to the exact size/proportions I wanted.

Has anybody heard of this cut before? Are there any PS''ers out there that have this diamond? Since I have never heard of this stone before, I thought I would post the question to all the experts on PS.

Thanks in advance for any help/info you can provide!!

I haven''t heard of that, but one of our trusted PriceScope vendors carries several different square stones with rounded or cut corners. Check out www.goodoldgold.com. You generally will do better on price there, too.

Thanks Diamondseeker! I will definitely check out their website and see what I can find. I appreciate your help!
