I'm not an expert at all, having just bought my first diamond for an ER.
But from my inexperienced eyes, I see good symmetry, however there appears to be more dark spots in both the Idealscope and ASET images compared to the most ideal stones. You should compare to some of the images of the Whiteflash A Cut Above stones to see if you can see the difference.
That's what I am trying to decide. I have a two business day hold. The stone is $12,100; just hoping it is an OK deal. Compared to what else I have found online by GIA stats it is good but just verifying with what people think on the more official data...
Ah, wise decision! When you are making a significant purchase, best to have all the info at hand. You've done well. Hope the experts on DS chime in! Good luck!
Sure, Data... Diameter numbers should be fairly close for a round diamond-check Depth right in middle of range(60-62.5)check Table 58% a brighter diamond with a little less fire-check Crown and Pavillion angles are the tried and true 34.0/41.0 combo-check girdle medium to slightly thick(always a plus-less prone to chipping)-check Star 50 and Lower Half 80 perfect I say. But the AGS cut grade of zero already means that. G color VS-1 clarity medium Floro, nice price, That should be one happy girl because diamonds don't get too much better. I would ask my WF rep if this particular diamond would qualify as a ACA. I think you got a out of the park home run here!!!
Wow! did you nab that diamond above then? And this is how far it is in production already? AWESOME!! Gorgeous - that's going to be a stunning engagement ring - congratulations!!!
