It has ideal cut proportions..very nice stone!

I'm not an expert at all, having just bought my first diamond for an ER.

But from my inexperienced eyes, I see good symmetry, however there appears to be more dark spots in both the Idealscope and ASET images compared to the most ideal stones. You should compare to some of the images of the Whiteflash A Cut Above stones to see if you can see the difference.

Also did you plug in the numbers into the HCA?

It means that you have a beautiful stone! It scores a 1.3 on the HCA.

Gorgeous stone - snap it up quick! Great find!

That's what I am trying to decide. I have a two business day hold. The stone is $12,100; just hoping it is an OK deal. Compared to what else I have found online by GIA stats it is good but just verifying with what people think on the more official data...

More opinions the better.

Ah, wise decision! When you are making a significant purchase, best to have all the info at hand. You've done well. Hope the experts on DS chime in! Good luck!

Forgot to add in regards to value and whether it is good for the price the GIA report states:

It is GIA 3ex, G, VS1, medium blue.

It looks like a beautiful stone and a nice price. I'd feel confident making the purchase. Post pics when you get that pretty in your hands!

Sure, Data... Diameter numbers should be fairly close for a round diamond-check Depth right in middle of range(60-62.5)check Table 58% a brighter diamond with a little less fire-check Crown and Pavillion angles are the tried and true 34.0/41.0 combo-check girdle medium to slightly thick(always a plus-less prone to chipping)-check Star 50 and Lower Half 80 perfect I say. But the AGS cut grade of zero already means that. G color VS-1 clarity medium Floro, nice price, That should be one happy girl because diamonds don't get too much better. I would ask my WF rep if this particular diamond would qualify as a ACA. I think you got a out of the park home run here!!!

Super, that's what I was hoping to read... time to lock it down. Will post a photo when it comes in...

Thank you!!

So here is a vendor pic... will post a shot when I get it on her finger. As a perspective point the band is 1.8 mm. Can't wait to see in person....

Congratulations!! Please come back with a few shots of it on her hand, we'd love to see it in it's final home. :wavey:

Wow! did you nab that diamond above then? And this is how far it is in production already? AWESOME!! Gorgeous - that's going to be a stunning engagement ring - congratulations!!!

Beautiful setting as well...really a stunning ring...congrats!!

It's gorgeous! Congratulations!! I second coming back with hand shots!

OK, so a little delay but here is the photo in its final resting place.

Proposed on the Great Wall of China and luckily she said a big Yes.. and loves the ring , friends and family are in awe of it's sparkle.

So as they say cut is definitely the most important...
