The packaging looked a bit rough when it arrived, which had me nervous. :eek2:

Ehhh screw it ... I’ll just keep it for a paper-weight. I mean, even with its flaws and sub-par cut, it’s still cleaner & outperforms that mess at Kay’s yesterday! :lol-2:
 
Gave it a cleaning, and I think these inclusions would fall into the category of a feather and “additional clouds not shown”. Looks to have a little body color to it as well, but I don’t mind; it really disperses some gorgeous prismatic fire when the light hits it!

A feather is actually a crack- and that diamond is likely to explode if you don't handle it carefully!!

Beautiful, but it looks like it has a 70% table.
Mine on the other hand, has a 54% table (notice how it bows in), a high crown, but an abraded culet.

Okay, but please excuse the smaller piddly diamond in the picture, and my unmanicured hands. :oops: And I’m under a taupe colored canopy which is throwing the color off a bit.

@cflutist Yours appears to have a better cut than mine, which does have a honkin’ big table. It’s heavy, weighing a full pound. I think I’d like to get a couple of them, maybe even in different colors, just for a pretty display on my desk. I have a couple of sun catchers with different colors that capture the light coming in through the window. Do you recall by chance if HL had a variety of colors & sizes?

Beautiful! It looks so huge in your hand! I can't wait to see how you set it! (Have I missed any typical responses to people's new stones? :mrgreen2:)
